Terms of service.
Last updated: May 15, 2026
These terms are a binding agreement between you and Orbitrage, Inc. covering your use of the Orbitrage routing engine, API proxy, telemetry ingestion, and dashboard. Read them in full before signing in.
Acceptance
By creating an Orbitrage account, signing in with Google, generating an API key, or otherwise accessing the service, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you are using Orbitrage on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, and “you” refers to that organisation.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.
The service
Orbitrage provides an OpenAI-compatible LLM gateway that routes inference requests to one of several upstream providers, a per-call audit log, an OpenTelemetry ingest endpoint, and a dashboard for inspecting routing decisions, workflows, cost, and latency.
The set of available models, providers, and routing policies may change over time. We may add, remove, or modify features without notice; where a change is material we will give reasonable advance notice through the dashboard or email.
Accounts & eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Orbitrage. To use the service you need an account, which is created when you sign in with Google or sign up with email and password through our auth provider.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and any API keys you generate confidential. API keys are bearer credentials — anyone holding the raw key can call the router as you and consume your credits. Revoke a key from the dashboard as soon as you suspect it is exposed. Orbitrage is not liable for losses arising from a key you failed to secure or revoke.
One person or legal entity per account. Sharing a single account between multiple people is not permitted; use organisation membership instead.
Plans, fees & credits
Orbitrage offers a free tier with limited credits, a paid Startup plan billed monthly, and an Enterprise plan arranged by contract. Current pricing, included credits, and quotas are published on our pricing page.
Free accounts include a fixed starting credit balance. Once spend reaches the credit limit, router calls are blocked with an HTTP 402 response until you top up or upgrade. Workflow and node quotas apply as listed on the pricing page.
Paid plans renew automatically. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Unless required by law, fees and credits are non-refundable once consumed. Inference costs charged by upstream LLM providers pass through at provider rates.
Taxes (including GST/VAT) are your responsibility unless we are required to collect them on your behalf, in which case they will be itemised on your invoice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Orbitrage, and not to enable any third party to use Orbitrage, to:
- generate, distribute, or facilitate content that is illegal in the jurisdictions you operate in, including content that sexualises minors, incites violence, or enables credible threats against identifiable people;
- attempt to circumvent the safety policies of upstream LLM providers, bypass content filters, or extract their system prompts;
- build automated systems that issue requests at a volume or pattern intended to disrupt the service, evade rate limits, or harvest credits;
- reverse-engineer the routing engine, decompile the dashboard, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from compiled artefacts, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure without prior written permission;
- submit personal data of others without an appropriate legal basis to do so, or use the service in a way that violates applicable privacy or data protection laws;
- misrepresent your identity, impersonate another person, or use the service for fraudulent purposes.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.
Your content
“Your Content” means the prompts, messages, files, telemetry spans, tool definitions, and any other material you send through the router or telemetry ingest.
You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant Orbitrage a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, route, transmit, display, and store Your Content solely as needed to operate the service for you — for example, forwarding a prompt to an upstream model, rendering a span in your dashboard, or persisting a routing row for your audit log.
We do not train models on Your Content. We do not sell Your Content. Aggregated, de-identified metrics derived from usage (e.g. average cost per tier across all users) may be used to improve routing policies.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and consents to submit Your Content to Orbitrage and to the upstream LLM providers that receive it.
Third-party services
Orbitrage relies on third-party providers to function, including Supabase (authentication and database), Google (OAuth sign-in), Razorpay (payments), and a rotating set of LLM providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Groq).
When you make a routing request, the content of that request is forwarded to the selected upstream provider, which processes it under its own terms and privacy policy. Orbitrage is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, safety, or availability of upstream provider responses, and provider outages may affect your ability to use the router.
Where a provider charges us per request, those charges pass through to your credit balance or invoice as described on the pricing page.
Intellectual property
Orbitrage, the routing engine, the dashboard, the documentation, the brand, and all related software and content are owned by Orbitrage, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the service for your internal business or personal use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the service except as expressly permitted in these Terms.
Feedback you give us about the product (suggestions, feature requests, bug reports) can be used freely by Orbitrage without restriction or compensation.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orbitrage disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.
AI model outputs are probabilistic and can be inaccurate, biased, or unsafe. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them in any high-stakes context. Orbitrage does not warrant that any routed model will be appropriate for your use case, or that routing will reduce cost or maintain quality in your specific workload.
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure. Scheduled and unscheduled downtime may occur.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to these Terms or the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Orbitrage's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid Orbitrage in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred United States dollars (US$100).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law — including, where applicable, liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or fraud.
Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Orbitrage, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the service in breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and may delete your account from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, if your use poses a risk to the service or other users, if a payment fails and is not cured within a reasonable period, or if we are required to do so by law.
On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including those on fees owed, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Orbitrage, Inc. is incorporated, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at support@orbitrage.xyz and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the latest revision took effect. For material changes, we will give reasonable advance notice by email or through a prominent notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the service after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
